Product Marketing Coordinator, Brisbane, QLD, Australia

Primary Objectives

  • Responsibility for the development and delivery of effective marketing campaigns and activities in the Asia Pacific region. This involves all aspects of sales and marketing from brand awareness, lead generation, sales processes and marketing strategies.
  • Support the regional Partners in Asia (e.g. Japan, Korea, China, Malaysia and India) to ensure that an effective marketing strategy is deployed in each region
  • Lead and coordinate the marketing activities for APAC and ensure all KPIs are met and marketing campaigns delivered effectively in the region. Foster good working relations with staff in the office and inter-office.

Principal Responsibilities

As the Product Marketing Coordinator APAC, you will report to the VP Asia Pacific and be responsible for development and deployment of effective sales and marketing initiatives and campaigns across the region; including the following specific responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level understanding of current and anticipated future client demands through close consultation with product managers and management, feedback from client reference groups, competitor analysis and a general awareness of engineering and software industry trends
  • Ensure that the Client Relations Management system is effectively developed and managed and that is used successfully to track sales leads, client communications and usefulness for marketing intelligence and resource for initiatives
  • Manage and grow the regional leads for XP products with qualified client data; Ensure sales staff have access to these leads and develop effective nurturing campaigns to develop these leads to potential clients
  • Establish and maintain quality systems that ensure that information obtained from product managers, sales staff and from existing and potential clients on product capabilities, competitor feedback, opportunities for improvement, etc. are feedback to management for appropriate action.
  • Coordinate all aspects of public communications including, media releases, e-newsletters, website, promotional material, etc.
  • Report to management on key KPIs in the sales and marketing area of the business with a consistent focus on improving business performance
  • Assist the development of company-wide marketing strategies in conjunction with marketing personnel from EMEA and Americas region
  • Assist VP Asia Pacific in managing and coordinating the APAC marketing resources and staff utilisation
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of regional marketing strategies, plans, and initiatives
  • Coordinate all aspects of public communications including, media releases, e-newsletters, website, promotional material, etc.
  • Perform market research in target areas. Identify existing and potential clients in a given region in preparation for a sales/marketing campaign
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the sale and marketing function
  • Both in-office work and travel are required

Qualifications

University-level education showing competence in marketing with at least a three years’ experience in a B2B technology marketing environment.

Skills

  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience in utilizing and optimizing a CRM such as Salesforce
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic sales and marketing strategies backed with specific goals and define performance measures

Due to growth we are seeking a sales person with strong business development skills to help develop our software business in UK and Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global market-leading software company within the civil and environmental engineering field. XP Solutions supplies software products for water management, including drainage design, flood risk management, water distribution and road design. You are likely to be an intelligent and highly-motivated sales person with inside and outside sales experience, preferably in software/technology. Our ideal candidate has spent at least two years in business to business sales, has territory management skills and is comfortable working in a goal-oriented environment.

  • Some experience in the Civil Engineering field or with CAD and modelling software would be advantageous but not essential.

Regional Sales Engineers for California, Texas, Southeast US, Mid-Atlantic U.S., Midwest U.S., Great Lakes, U.S. and New England, U.S.

The Regional Sales Engineer is responsible for all sales activities within the assigned territory including public and private customers and prospects. They must develop relationships with key government agencies to drive acceptance of XP’s products and methodologies. They are responsible for professionally representing the company and educating the marketplace via presentations, meetings and demonstrations.

  • Build sustainable relationships and network throughout customer accounts

Junior Software Developer (Engineering Applications) in Newbury, Berkshire, UK

This is an opportunity to be part of a Research & Development Team developing first class software products to support the worldwide success XP Solutions. We are looking for a junior software developer for engineering, mathematical and technical applications. We are not recruiting web-site developers. You will be supported by other team members and be encouraged to develop new skills in a friendly, but highly productive, environment.

Our products run in the .NET environment and support environmental and engineering industries and include water management and drainage design software. Our users range from civil engineers to landscape architects: you will need to demonstrate the ability to understand the technical nature of their work. You need to be a good communicator with written, verbal and presentational skills.

Your responsibilities will depend on your level of experience but will include:
      • Programming: to develop new functions, implement feature requests and fix bugs.
      • Software design and specification, in collaboration with product managers.
      • Software testing and deployment of new products or features.
      • Providing support to clients as appropriate (software query advice).
      • Writing software documentation.
      • It is likely that you will have some experience with engineering, mathematical or scientific software in which you may have used C#, C++, Fortran or VB.
